STEP #1: DETERMINE THE DATE OF PASSOVER

Depending upon the year, Passover generally falls between late March and early April. There are numerous proof texts for this in the Bible, but it is very important to understand that biblical days must be reckoned between sunset and sunset. Our modern convention of commencing each new day at midnight has no biblical standing, and must not be used when working out God's Calendar. Using a standard calendar, we see that the NEW MOON occurs on Monday, March 15th, and is our starting point as the 1st day of Nisan according to the Hebrew calendar. Counting forward (14) days, we arrive on Monday, March 29th which is the 14th Day of Nisan, and is the Passover day.

Starting date and time: Sunday, March 28th at sunset
Ending date and time: Monday, March 29th at sunset

STEP #2: DETERMINE THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD

The Feast of Unleavened Bread immediately follows the end of Passover and lasts for seven days. The first full day takes place on Tuesday, March 30th.

Starting date and time: Monday, March 29th at sunset. A sabbath day between sunset Monday and Tuesday.
Ending date and time: Monday, April 5th at sunset. A sabbath day between sunset Sunday and Monday.

STEP #3: DETERMINE THE DAY OF PENTECOST

The day of Pentecost is determined from the weekly Sabbath day following the end of Passover, and counting ahead for (49) days or "seven sabbaths". The day after the seventh sabbath or the (50th) day is then the day of Pentecost.

1st day of reckoning: Friday, April 9th at sunset (April 10th is the 1st day)
49th day of reckoning: Saturday May 22nd at sunset (the 49th day)

Starting date and time: Saturday, May 22nd at sunset. A sabbath day between sunset Saturday and Sunday.
Ending date and time: Sunday May 23rd at sunset (the 50th day).
